Ataxia UK on Instagram

We’re officially relaunching our Instagram channel on 7 July. Why not become one of our followers?

This year, we’ve been making a concerted effort to grow our social media impact, making your access to support and information easier than ever before. We’ve had some great results on both Facebook and Twitter, and we feel it’s time to join in the fun on Instagram. We’ll be using the platform to create an informal community space for everyone affected by ataxia, our Friends and supporters. It’ll also be a chance for you to see a bit of what goes on ‘behind the scenes’ at Ataxia UK and to get to know all of us in the office a little bit better.

As you may know, Instagram is a smartphone-based social media channel, primarily used to share pictures and videos. So please keep your eyes peeled for anything that you think other people with ataxia would enjoy, take a quick snap and tag us @ataxia_uk !

We want this new platform to work best for you, so we’ll be asking you what you think works and what doesn’t, welcoming any new ideas and suggestions. The re-launch of our Instagram channel coincides with the launch of ‘Fractured Lives,’ our Derby ataxia awareness campaign on 7 July.

Help get the campaign and Instagram re-launch off with a bang by following us at https://www.instagram.com/ataxia_uk/ and spreading the word about ataxia, using #ataxiafractureslives
