Welcome to Ataxia UK. We are the leading national charity in the UK for people affected by any type of ataxia. We fund research into finding treatments and cures, and offer advice, information and support to people affected by the condition.

Ataxia UK is a part of Childlife a partnership between four charities that work together to raise funds and provide support for children and their families.

FUNDRAISE FOR US

Support the ataxia community and volunteer with Ataxia UK. From social media to telephone befriending, there are loads of ways you can make a difference to someone’s life.
OUR IMPACT
Every £1 invested in research by Ataxia UK raises almost £5 in further funding used specifically for ataxia research.
Recently launched the first Ataxia UK accredited paediatric centre in the UK in Sheffield
1784 contact points to the Helpline last financial year.
