We’re pleased to invite you to a one-day event to launch our new Specialist Ataxia Nurse service in the South West. This is your chance to meet Camilla Notley, who is our Specialist Ataxia Nurse, and hear more about how the service will work and how you can benefit from it.Â
Who this event is for: People living with ataxia in the South West of England, their families, friends and carers. We also welcome the attendance of local healthcare professionals working with ataxia patients or with an interest in ataxia.

The programme for the day will include:

- An update from Ataxia UK, by CEO Sue Millman
- An overview of the new service from your Specialist Ataxia Nurse Camilla Notley, followed by a Q&A
- Meet your local Branch or Support Group
- Information about what Ataxia UK can do for you
- Updates about Ataxia UK's research activities
- A talk from Clinical Geneticist Prof Andrea Nemeth from the Oxford Ataxia Centre
- A presentation from Ruth Wells, CEO of Headway Devon
- An accessible exercise workshop delivered by Jakki Floyd
