Barchester’s Charitable Foundation - Ataxia UK

Barchester's Charitable Foundation

Barchester's Charitable Foundation

The Barchester's Charitable Foundation was created by Barchester Healthcare in 2000 to give something back to people in the communities where the Barchester care homes operate.

As a grant giving charity, the Foundation distributes over £150,000 per year to individuals and small community groups/charities across England, Scotland and Wales. By providing grants for mobility equipment, the Foundation seeks to make a big difference to the lives of older and disabled people.

They offer support specifically for:

  • A grant for people 65+
  • Adults (18+) with a physical or learning disability
  • Adults (18+) with mental health problems

We favour applications that help improve people’s mobility, independence and quality of life. Our grants range from £100 to £600.

Applications should be referred to the Trust by a third party, so please apply via Ataxia UK by following the instructions below:

Please fill out the Application Form and send it electronically to help@ataxia.org.uk or in the post to our address at the bottom of the page.
