The Belper Games and Ataxia UK are teaming up for a new ataxia awareness campaign this summer in Derby!
Thanks to Kerry and Jim Bull, co-organisers of the annual Belper Games, and with the hard work of the Derby Support Group, the Belper Games will be the highlight in a month of awareness events and promotion across Derby this July, including:
- striking posters on Derby city buses for a month
- a take-over of the INTU Derby Shopping Centre on Saturday 7 July, with a digital Ataxia UK poster and a kiosk, manned by Derby Support Group members, to spread the word about ataxia and The Belper Games
- fundraising and awareness events throughout the month
- and of course, The Belper Games on 21-22 July!
This campaign will be supported by the world-renowned marketing company TBWA, who have done so much for Ataxia UK over the past few years, including: free advertising worth over £250,000 in the Metro and on billboards across the UK, and designing our wonderful Rankin poster series in 2014.
Now, they’ve put together the main materials of our ‘Ataxia Fractured Lives’ campaign, which will be launched locally in Derby this summer before hitting the national stage in October.
