Don’t miss your chance to register for the 2021 Virtual Kiltwalk, taking place from the 23rd to 25th April.

Kiltwalks are mass participation walking events that raise much-needed funds for Scottish charities and projects, such as Ataxia UK. Every year Kiltwalk events take place across Scotland – Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh, however this spring it is taking place virtually due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Thanks to Sir Tom Hunter the event founder, this year every penny raised will be topped up by 50% by the Hunter Foundation. So it is a great year to get involved! Sir Tom Hunter noted; “The Kiltwalk kindness of Scots is truly unparalleled and at a time of most need we should offer hope and that’s why today we launch Scotland’s virtual Kiltwalk for the Spring”

We would love you to join Team Ataxia UK and take part in this event!

You can also check out the planned In Person Kiltwalk in October 2021 on this page.

How do I take part?

  • Although due to Covid-19 restrictions this event is not taking part in person, it is a great opportunity to take part from wherever you live
  • Kiltwalkers are invited to don a bit of tartan and complete any socially distanced challenge they wish, from walking, running, cycling, hopping, skipping or jumping on a trampoline.

All participants will receive a free t-shirt and support every step of the way, as well as an exclusive medal!

Where do I sign up?
