What do I wear?

Take part in your regular fitness gear, or get spooky with fancy dress!

How to Take Part and do I get a medal?

It costs £25 to enter and when you register you will receive a goodie bag in the post including your own personal running number.

Once you’re finished, you will receive your very own medal!

You will also receive an Ataxia UK supporter pack which includes a t-shirt or running vest as a little thank you for taking part.

Prizes to Win!

There are also two prizes to win:

  • The fastest time in fancy dress on Halloween (31 October)
  • The person who raises the most money by Halloween (31 October

The Virtual Marathon Series (who are organising the challenge), will donate £250 to the charity of each winner. The winners will also receive a running goodies pack from partner RunThrough.

To apply for the fastest runner you need to enter your time through the Virtual Marathon Series portal and complete the 5K in fancy dress on 31 October. Just log your run on Strava or a similar app and submit it as part of your ‘evidence’.

To apply for the highest fundraiser, please email virtual@runforcharity.com with a link to your fundraising page no later than 1 November.
