The Royal Parks Challenge takes participants through the most beautiful and iconic parks in London, and past some of the city's greatest landmarks. Our event to celebrate International Ataxia Awareness Day, our participants enjoy the sites, company and atmosphere while raising awareness and funds for Ataxia UK.

We ensure that whichever of our routes you choose to take, you'll find it completely accessible. Participants can look forward to a wonderful finale in the heart of the city, with a buffet lunch and drinks to celebrate their success!

The UK-wide International Ataxia Awareness Day Challenge

For the first time, we widened our challenge to beyond the capital in 2018 - and were delighted at the wonderful events happening up and down the country! If you’d like to be part of something collaborative, fun and fund-raising, then why not organise your own Challenge Walk or other event for International Ataxia Awareness Day? We will send you your very own Ataxia UK Royal Parks Challenge pack, which includes t-shirts for those taking part, sponsorship forms and advice to help you make the most of the day.

We’re looking for Support Groups and Branches, families and friends to get together, pop on their colourful t-shirts and make a splash all over the UK. Taking part on the same day, tweeting, posting on Facebook or Instagram with #IAAD, #ataxia and #TeamAtaxiaUK, and popping a penny in a fundraising pot can really make this day more successful than ever before.

Email us at [email protected] or call the office on 020 7582 1444 and ask for Rebecca or Zoe for more information on planning your own event. We hope to see you there!
