Collections tins are a great, simple and easy way to raise money for Ataxia UK and awareness of ataxia.

Ask your local shop, pub, restaurant, school or workplace if they're happy to display one or more collection tins for Ataxia UK. If you're planning on carrying out public street collections, or outside train stations and in shopping centres, you'll need to obtain a license from your Local Authority beforehand. We can send you buckets and t-shirts for these types of public collections.    

We'll ask you to complete a short form to let us know how many tins/buckets you would like, as well as the address where they'll be held. We can then send them to you or the venue directly, with a certificate of authorisation and information on how to send the money to us.

We ask our supporter's to count the donations collected at least every 6 months and we'll be in touch to remind you to do this. Once we've received the money, we'll send you and the venue a thank you letter and certificate, with the total amount raised.
