Our activities across Volunteers' Week
Sign up for some 'at home' high spirited fun!
Wednesday 3 June
Room 101 @ 2pm-3pm
Based on the BBC series Room 101, we are encouraging people to send in nominations of something they want binned moving forward. It could be traffic wardens, Health and safety inspectors or maybe that relative is slightly irritating! It can be anything you want, but we hope it will be a fun event to join in online. You can email your suggested topic to email@example.com, and the group will decide if your topic deserves to go into Room 101. You can register for the event here.
Thursday 4 June
Discussion Group @ 11am-12.30pm
Tim Kahn, who volunteers running our South London Support Group and our Helpline, is running his second discussion group online. This session will be based around a clip from the comedian Jenny Eclair. You can register here.
Volunteer Open Event @ 2pm-3pm
We are running an event to present how people volunteer with Ataxia UK. We hope this session will enable us to recruit more volunteers going forward. If are thinking about recruiting any volunteers for your Branch/Support Group then let us know. There is no need to register for this event just save this link and enter here.
Friday 5 June
Music Group @ 1pm-2pm
Our Trustee Tony Kaye who also helps run our NW London Branch is leading on our music session. His theme will be 'One Hit Wonders' from music’s past. From Gerry Rafferty to Lou Bega, we hope this will be a fun way to start your weekend. You can register here.
