On October 1st Stacey's family and friends will be trekking across Dorset in a bid to raise money for a disease of which so little is known. There are around 10,000 people affected in the UK, and although some forms can be treatable, at present there is no known cure. In 2014 Stacey was diagnosed with Cerebellar Ataxia. She has recently had to start using a wheelchair as she is unable to stand for long periods of time. Ataxia is a degenerative neurological disease, that affects co-ordination, balance and speech, meaning eventually having to rely on others.

We will be walking from Hengistbury Head to Studland (more specifically to The Bankes Arms for a well deserved pint!) which is around 12.6 miles and should take just over 4 hours.
