Recently, at the young age of 16, my daughter Georgia was diagnosed with an extremely rare, life changing disease called Friedreich's Ataxia. This condition develops over time, meaning that gradually Georgia's condition will worsen with no exact timeline for this decline. Her muscles will gradually become weaker and she will eventually become permanently wheelchair-bound in the near future. This news has been extremely hard for us all as a family, and of course, extremely difficult for Georgia to deal with at the age of 16. We are all gradually accepting and adapting and doing anything we can to keep her positive.

There is currently no cure or treatment for Friedreich's Ataxia, therefore, I am raising money for Ataxia UK by doing this skydive, to support the ongoing crucial and promising research that they are funding, in order to keep the hope of a potential treatment or cure one day.

Any donation, no matter how small, will be very gratefully received and will play a vital role in helping the charity, Ataxia UK, to continue to fund the important research.

Thank-you so much in advance,
Lee Adcock (Georgia's father).
