Sasha and I have known Olie for two and a half years when he started working with us. Olie is a kind, considerate, strong and amazing person who unfortunately two years ago was diagnosed with Friedreich’s ataxia. Anyone who knows Olie knows that he has not let this get him down and continues to live life to the fullest, being the kind, considerate, strong and amazing person he was when we first met him.

Andy Franks (Olie’s uncle) did the Manchester Marathon earlier this month, beating his finishing time target and also his donation target - he did amazing and made everyone very proud. This has inspired us to do something for help raise awareness and money for Ataxia UK. So, Sasha and I are going to do a 50km walk to raise money for Ataxia UK, with the hope that every bit of money you donate goes a long way to help this charity to do more research and provide individuals with the support they require.

Olie, we are both extremely proud of you and how you have dealt with the diagnosis and we are privileged to know, work and be friends with you. We will always be here for you, so this is for you, Olie 💕
