On Sunday 27 September 2020 we will be gathering our cyclists* to take part in the first ever Ataxia Classic challenge in Yorkshire to raise funds and awareness for Ataxia UK. There is a 56.8km and 100km route, and so whether you’re a super or standard cyclist, or maybe you just fancy a new challenge, this is the cycle for you! Starting and finishing at the impressive Kilnwick Percy Golf Club, you'll cycle through the rolling hills of the East Riding of Yorkshire and pedal parts of the renowned Tour de Yorkshire whilst taking in the spectacular Yorkshire Wolds scenery. The stunning route also takes you past the impressive Castle Howard featured in the Brideshead TV series and films. We would love to have your friends and families there on the day to support you all and a buffet lunch and refreshments will be provided. This event will raise crucial funds for research and to support for those affected by ataxia. We therefore ask that everyone fundraise. As we welcome you to the team, we will be with you every pedal of the way and will fully support you in hitting your target and cheering you over the finish line! Entry includes a high-performance cycling jersey, an exclusive medal and a delicious buffet lunch. *Riders must be aged 14 years or over but younger supporters can gather at the Golf Club with their friends and families to cheer the cyclists, and enjoy the beautiful Kilnwick Percy surroundings.
