Our Board of Trustees is made up of people who have a variety of skills and experience that contribute to the running of Ataxia UK, including people with ataxia; doctors of pharmacology and psychiatry; those who have experience in business and finance; Social Policy advisors, and members of our Branch network with fundraising experience.
The Board meets five to six times a year; all the meetings are at a weekend, apart from our meeting in May, which is midweek. Some meetings are at our office in Highgate; one is on the Sunday morning after Annual Conference and we have two residential meetings a year (Saturday lunchtime – Sunday lunchtime) at a hotel in the Midlands.
If you would like to discuss what it involves to be a Trustee, please contact Sue Millman at the office ([email protected] or call 020 7582 1444); alternatively, she can arrange for you to have a discussion with the Co-Chairs of Ataxia UK Trustee Board, Richard Brown and William Littleboy.
