We know this year is a bit different, but walking is great for the soul, so why not join in? Please just remember to adhere to Government guidelines in relation to social distancing and groups of six or less. Here are some tips to get you started...

  • Choose a date and time (it doesn’t have to be on 25 September) and a route
     
  • Keep it informal, simple and local
     
  • Choose a route you know well and are happy to walk
     
  • Ask a friend or relative to help you plan it
     
  • Choose a start and finish with facilities - make it easier by having the start and finish at the same point!

                   

Whatever you choose to do, please remember to:

  • Tell everyone what you’re doing and ask them to sponsor you
     
  • Contact us – we will send you t-shirts, balloons and sponsorship forms to help you make your mark and get ataxia out there
     
  • Take photos – they are a great memento and we’d love to see them too! We will also feature your events on our social media and some in the magazine too.

This is a great opportunity to mark IAAD in your own way. Whatever you choose to do, THANK YOU - we are looking forward to hearing all about it!
