You can fill out our sign up form and we will get back to you. We will talk you through the process of getting signed up to an event, and we’ll be there every step of the way to help you hit your fundraising target! Depending on the event, we can send you a free t-shirt, or if you are taking part in a running event for us, you will get a complimentary running vest to wear on the day of your race, once you’ve raised £250! We can advise you on setting up a fundraising page, and share some useful hints and tips with you to maximise your fundraising. You will also receive one of our fundraising packs which include sponsorship forms for any cash donations you collect offline. Upon completion of your event we will send you a thank you letter and certificate to display. We also love seeing the photographs from your event, so please do send these through to us after your event and we can share these within the Ataxia UK community across our channels. Fundraising materials We can provide you with a range of materials such as posters, collection tins, balloons and leaflets. If you are planning on giving a talk at your event, we can also send you some information on ataxia and Ataxia UK. Not sure when to host your event? 25 September is International Ataxia Awareness Day (IAAD) and every year we carry out events and press work to coincide with this. If you have used sponsorship forms for your event, please send them to: Fundraising DepartmentAtaxia UK12 Broadbent CloseLondonN6 5JW If you have set up an online fundraising page through JustGiving or Virgin Money Giving, then the money will come directly to us and you do not need to do anything else. If you would like to donate the money via cheque, then please make the cheque payable to ‘Ataxia UK.’ You can also donate the money raised from your fundraising page through our website, by clicking the big orange donate button in the top right corner. Alternatively, you can donate the money to us via bank transfer.
