Gemma Fish was born in London and has been living in Derbyshire since she was eight. She was misdiagnosed with epilepsy at the age of one and after a lengthy process of other diagnoses, Gemma was finally and correctly diagnosed with episodic ataxia type 2, just two years ago. As our youngest trustee, Gemma is passionate about inclusion for all; "no matter what your experience or age, everyone she be able to have their voice heard." Gemma has always had a keen interest in helping children from disadvantaged backgrounds as well as those with learning difficulties. She has taken a keen interest in our 16-30 project, and will be speaking to the group members at this year's annual conference.
