Ataxia UK East of Scotland Branch
AGM on Sat 11 May 2013
Saturday 11 May 2013 (the AGM). Everyone is welcome at our meetings. We meet every couple of months for regular branch meetings, plus one off events such as BBQs, boat trips etc. Everyone welcome! Looking for suggestions for social events next year.
The East of Scotland Branch meets several times a year at Lasswade High School Centre from 1.30 - 4pm on Saturdays. Our meetings are usually May (the AGM), September, November, January and March. We also have social events eg visit to Scottish Parliament, meals out, boat trips etc. Everyone is welcome at our meetings and we usually have a speaker but always have a good laugh and a chat.

We can add you to our email or postal mailing list.Here's a picture from a recent meeting with Calum Pringle showing us his design 'Subtle Subtitles' an iPod app to help people (especially strangers) to understand ataxians who have difficulty with their speech. Calum's Mum has late-onset CA and is already having great success using the prototype.
