Ataxia UK Thames Valley Branch
The Thames Valley Branch covers a large area to the West of London and includes towns such as Windsor, Slough, Maidenhead, High Wycombe, Henley-on-Thames, Reading and all surrounding areas. Membership is open to everyone with ataxia, their family, friends and carers.
The Thames Valley Group, which became a Branch in the autumn of 2007, has members from Middlesex to Oxfordshire and Hertfordshire down into Hampshire. Our bi-monthly meetings are usually held in the Maidenhead area, which although being central, is not convenient for all our members. Because of this we have a regular news letter and also keep in touch by e-mail, distributing news items received from Ataxia UK. We feel it is important that sufferers of this rare condition and their carers can have contact with others and, where possible, meet up and share their experiences, so new members are always welcome.
