Ataxia UK Sheffield Support Group

Please note in 2012 our meetings will now be held on the first THURSDAY of each month at 11am in The Circle on Rockingham Lane, Sheffield.

Diane Friend, the Specialist Ataxia Nurse,came to talk to us, and, as usual, the talk was a helpful blend of information and informality. Topics ranged over the ataxia clinic and its possible future development (new posts, more therapists),the importance of research, possible access to carers,and the continuity of Diane's post. She stressed that she's always available to contact at the Hallamshire Hospital.

Meeting at The Circle - "Getting to know you". Isobel will facilitate this, and she'd like you to bring something small eg a photo or trinket which means something to you, and which you could talk briefly about, and share with the rest of the group.
