Ataxia UK is entirely funded by the money we raise. Some of it comes from trusts and grants, but most of it comes from the generosity of people like you, who make donations, raise money, and leave us gifts in their wills. 1. Donate regularly
You can donate now online, or make set up a regular gift by printing and sending this form to us. Don't forget to tell us if you are eligible for Gift Aid - it will make your gift worth 28% more at no cost to you.
2. Raise funds
Whether you hold a glittering society ball, run the marathon, or jump out of a plane, anyone can help raise funds for Ataxia UK.
Online donations sites are a great way to raise money and you can even link to them Facebook and Twitter for maximum awareness. To set up a page for online fundraising try one of the following sites;

3. Do a trek or skydive

4.Consider leaving a gift in your will
Legacies make up a third of all the money we raise, so if you are thinking of leaving a gift to charity, this is a great way to support us. It's also vital to make a will to ensure your loved ones are looked after, and reduce the burden of Inheritance Tax.

Would you like to remember a loved one with a free online tribute page?
Ataxia UK has partnered with Much Loved - a charity working to help bereaved people – to enable you to create a sensitive, personalised and lasting online memorial to your loved one.
The easy-to-use website allows you and your friends and relatives to post memories, pictures and videos of your loved ones. It is a unique and respectful way of keeping their memory alive.

• An online community allows you to share your thoughts with others who are experiencing similar loss
Once you have created a webpage that honours the memory of your loved one you can also, if you wish to, choose to support Ataxia UK, raising money to help people affected by ataxia and to fine a cure – a wonderful way to remember that special person. The website gives people the opportunity add any donations, including funds raised from events such as coffee mornings or sponsored runs.
‘In memoriam’ gifts are a positive and valuable way of remembering someone who was close to you. These gifts will celebrate their life whilst at the same time helping create a better future for those who need our help now.
