Katie Henderson receives the Anne Ford cup.
Ataxia UK makes awards each year to people who have made an outstanding contribution to our work.
At each annual conference, the Anne Ford Cup is awarded in recognition and honour of a person with ataxia who has made an outstanding contribution to Ataxia UK and to people affected by ataxia. The award was created by Mr and Mrs Ford in 1992, in memory of their daughter Anne, who had Friedreich’s ataxia.
In 2009 the cup was awarded to Patsy Riggs of the Ipswich and Colchester group
