Meeting up

Our residential Talk In Weekend in July 2006 was for young people aged 16 – 22 with ataxia - a chance to meet others in a similar position, exchange ideas and make friends.

Some comments from participants:

"I enjoyed it a lot and I enjoyed the company from the people I met. It went ever so quickly and I wanted to stay longer."

"I enjoyed meeting new people and making friends. Also seeing what others are doing with their career."

Other events we organise, which aren’t specifically for young people, include our Annual Conference and Branches & Support Groups who hold regular meetings. Our Virtual Group ‘meets’ every Sunday at 4.30 pm.
