Ataxia UK is committed to funding suitable projects that may improve quality of life of people affected by ataxia, or may speed the development of safe and effective treatments.

These have included clinical therapies, such as physiotherapy and speech therapy, genetic research, epidemiological studies and research on the pathogenesis of specific ataxias.
