What is the Anne Ford Cup?

Mr and Mrs Ford at the 2005 Annual Conference
The award was created by Mr and Mrs Ford in 1992, in memory of their daughter Anne, who had Friedreich’s ataxia.
Anne went to local schools in Worcestershire before spending two years at Hereward College for the Disabled in Coventry.
After leaving college, Anne returned home where she enjoyed life to the full. Her work as a room warden for the National Trust at Hanbury Hall meant she met people from all over the world.
