We aim to support all people affected by ataxia; people with the condition, their familes, carers and friends.
We fund research into developing safe, effective treatments. Our ultimate goal is to find a cure for the ataxias. In 2007 we awarded grants to eight new projects, exploring a wide range of research avenues.
We help people to live with ataxia in the meantime by providing a range of services that are not available anywhere else. During 2007, we introduced a new advocacy service.
