End the Care Crisis: Lobby 2012

The Care & Support Alliance is a consortium of over 50 organisations representing older and disabled people, those with long-term conditions and their families. Ataxia UK is a member of the Care & Support Alliance through our membership of National Voices. The Care & Support Alliance is working together to promote urgent reform to tackle the crisis in our care system.

The aims of the Care & Support Alliance are:

  • Working to resolve longer-term funding issues for social care
  • Ensuring a clear legal framework for social care
  • Seeking improvements in social care delivery

The Alliance is calling for people to take urgent action to

  • Sign the petition, hosted by Age UK, where they are aiming for a substantial 100,000 signatures by 6 March*
  • Sign up for the mass lobby - End the Care Crisis - on *6 March 2012
